nuvaBONE, bio-materials
nuvaBONE is the innovative line of synthetic bone substitutes calcium phosphate based stoichiometrically
controlled crystalline lattice.
Crystals are perfectly equivalent to those of the natural
hydroxyapatite of human bone, in terms of overlapping
of surfaces and interplanarity.
The chemical-physical characteristics of the scaffold
make it ideal for integration into host bone tissue, promoting its regeneration.
This is possible due to the presence of interconnected
nanostructures to form a mineral architecture suitable
to promote vascularization and cellular adhesion.
Thanks to its buffering power, nuvaBone is able to control
the pH at the graft site, ensuring homeostasis of the
cellular proteome, limiting osmotic and oxidative stress.
nuvaBone bone substitutes come completely degraded
by osteoclastic activity and physiologically remodeled
into new vital bone tissue.
nuvaBONE bio-materials:
- Do not contain polymers
- Do not contain glycerol
- Have a physiological pH
- They are completely absorbable
